At the recent GRLI General Assembly during SUN ESSEC 2013, Jean-Christophe Carteron (CSR Director of KEDGE Business School, France) lead a working session on the development of a global CSR knowledge assessment for tertiary level education (Bachelors, Masters, MBAs). The test covers 3 aspects: challenges facing society, organizational responsibility and practices within an organization.
This initiative is related to the Rio+20 Higher Education Sustainable Initiative (www.UNCSD2012.org/HEI) and actively supported by the GRLI and 50+20 community.
During the next GRLI GA in Lima a working group will meet to refine the presentation that Jean-Christophe will deliver at the Nagoya UNESCO World Conference on Education for Sustainable Development in November. The aim is to ensure the CSR Literacy component is integrated on the road map of UNESCO’s work for the next decade.
