The GRLI’s presence in New York for this historic week of action continues our history of being a catalyzing force for united commitment and action for Global Responsibility in Higher Education, business, and society.
GRLI is a founding signer of the SDG Accord’s Climate Declaration, launched in September 2017, that is raising awareness of climate action in the Higher Education community before COP25 in December.
Previously, GRLI co-created the Global Alliance with EUAC during the build-up to COP21 in 2015. The Global Alliance of universities, colleges and student networks issued an Open Letter to inspire and empower students, academics, staff and leaders to make their organisations and communities more sustainable, resilient and just.
